Wie.MAI.KAI Flörsheim

The "Wie.MAI.KAI" is an annual anime, manga, and Japanese culture convention located in the heart of the Rhine-Main region. Since its inception in 2007, it has captivated fans of Japanese pop culture with a diverse program and attracts over 3,000 visitors every year. The Wie.MAI.KAI is organized by the team of the platform "wiemaikai.de," based in Offenbach. Since 2016, the Stadthalle Flörsheim am Main has served as the central event venue.

The Stadthalle Flörsheim is centrally located within the city and offers ideal conditions for an event like Wie.MAI.KAI, thanks to its modern facilities and spacious rooms. From 2010, the Bürgerhaus Kastel in Mainz-Kastel, a district of Wiesbaden, became the convention's fixed venue for five years. A significant milestone in Wie.MAI.KAI's history was its inclusion in the anniversary series "150 Years of German-Japanese Friendship" in 2010 and 2011. Since 2011, the event has been held over two days, giving it the character of a comprehensive event.

Today, Wie.MAI.KAI is one of the most versatile conventions in the region. Visitors can enjoy a spectacular stage program featuring national and international artists. Comedians, musicians, dancers, and show acts deliver top-tier entertainment. The program is complemented by film screenings, interactive workshops, exciting competitions, a games room, and the popular Bring & Buy section. Vendors and exhibitors showcase a wide range of products related to anime, manga, and Japanese culture.
