Advent market Marktredwitz

The Marktredwitz Advent Magic is an annual event that traditionally takes place on all four Advent weekends. From Thursday to Sunday, the market is held at the Glasschleif – a unique industrial monument – ​​in Marktredwitz.

The market is organized by Martin Fuhrmann from Tröstau, who is responsible not only for organizing the market itself but also for coordinating the numerous cultural activities.

The Marktredwitz Advent Magic is known for its diverse attractions. Visitors can enjoy live music and a varied children's program every day. These features make the market a lively and family-friendly experience.

The market offers a wide selection of food and drinks. Traditional treats such as sweet and savory crêpes, cold and warm fish specialties, bratwurst, steaks, lángos, Belgian waffles, chocolate-covered fruit, gingerbread hearts, popcorn, and roasted almonds satisfy visitors' appetites. To warm up, there is a wide variety of drinks, including mulled wine specialties, mulled beer, grog, tea and Jagertee (a type of spiced tea), children's punch, and various other hot beverages.
