Held annually during the Advent season – typically from late November until just before Christmas – it is a well-established highlight in Hof’s winter event calendar.

The market focuses on winter charm, high-quality culinary delights, family-friendly entertainment, and a varied program of stage performances and side events. Maxplatz is transformed into an urban Christmas experience with thoughtful decorations, enchanting light installations, and atmospheric details that appeal to visitors of all ages.

Gourmet offerings range from bratwurst, flame-grilled salmon, and langos to crêpes, roasted almonds, flammkuchen, churros, and cheese spaetzle. Carefully selected vendors and artisans present handmade crafts, delicacies, spices, spirits, and original gift ideas – perfect for the festive season.
