EmslandKreativ Lingen

EmslandKreativ is an annual consumer exhibition dedicated to arts and crafts, needlework, DIY and creative making. Since 2026, it has been held at the Emslandhallen Lingen exhibition centre. Bringing together creative people of all ages, the event combines inspiration, shopping opportunities and hands-on activities under one roof.

EmslandKreativ is organised by Okken GmbH, an experienced exhibition organiser specialising in high-quality regional consumer events. The exhibition provides manufacturers, specialist retailers, designers, artisan makers and creative service providers with a platform to showcase the latest products, materials and techniques to an engaged audience.

At the heart of EmslandKreativ is the diverse world of creative crafts and making. Exhibits cover everything from fabrics, patchwork, sewing, quilting, wool, yarns, felting and embroidery to diamond painting, paper crafts, scrapbooking, origami and stamping techniques. The range is complemented by arts and crafts supplies, drawing and painting materials, handmade crafts, beads, gemstones, jewellery-making materials, buttons, haberdashery, sewing accessories, and products for cake decorating and sugarcraft. Visitors can discover both traditional materials and innovative products, tools and accessories for creative projects of every kind.

One of the exhibition's highlights is its extensive programme of interactive activities, where visitors can try out new techniques for themselves. Workshops for adults and children, live demonstrations by experienced craft professionals and product presentations provide practical expertise and inspiration for personal creative projects. Popular attractions include silicone moulds and modern casting techniques, home décor and decorative crafts, fabrics and professional sewing accessories, jewellery design, board games, creative model making, Blob Painting, and a variety of additional creative activities designed especially for children.

Exhibitors represent a broad cross-section of the creative industry, including arts and crafts supplies, needlework, textiles and haberdashery, creative materials, stationery, artists' supplies, jewellery design, artisan crafts, DIY manufacturing, model making, home décor, and cake decorating products. The result is a varied exhibition that combines traditional craftsmanship with the latest DIY trends and innovative creative techniques.

EmslandKreativ is aimed primarily at hobby crafters, craft enthusiasts, sewing enthusiasts, textile craft lovers, artists, families with children and DIY enthusiasts. Whether beginners or experienced makers, visitors will find inspiration and the right products for their creative projects. The event takes place at the modern Emslandhallen Lingen, one of the leading event and exhibition venues in western Lower Saxony. Thanks to its central location in Lingen (Ems), ample on-site parking and excellent transport links via the A31 and A30 motorways as well as Lingen railway station, the venue is easily accessible by both car and public transport from across north-west Germany and the neighbouring Netherlands.
