vocatium Rostock is an annual trade fair focused on career and academic opportunities. It has become an important destination for young people navigating the path to their professional future. The name “vocatium” is derived from the Latin word vocatio, meaning “calling” or “profession” - a reflection of the fair’s core mission: to provide students, young adults, and early-career individuals with a platform to explore their career interests and develop concrete plans for training, study, and career development.

The event is organized by IfT Institut für Talententwicklung GmbH, an experienced educational organization specializing in personalized career guidance and long-term talent development.

Each year, the HanseMesse in Rostock is transformed into a modern hub for career and academic orientation. As part of a nationwide network of over 80 locations, vocatium follows a concept unique in Germany: students engage in pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings with representatives from businesses, universities, and institutions. This structured preparation allows for focused, personalized, and meaningful career counseling.

The fair highlights topics such as career orientation, dual study programs, academic pathways, job application training, and opportunities in a changing labor market.
